Our staff can be your guide, pointing you in the right direction if you’re looking for recommendations or help organising transport.

We also have complimentary vintage bikes available for you to take exploring - complete with a basket to hold your essentials.

Here are some of the amazing things, right on our doorstep - literally!

Food & Drink

The Mid Pacific is right in the middle of Port Macquarie’s CBD, which has countless dining options.

If you’re looking to start the day with a big breakfast – LV’s on Clarence is 100 metres down the street. They are famous for their Hash Eggs Benny – as well as their Truffled Mushies!

For your midday meal – Chop and Chill, The Beach House, Sea Secrets and The Grill are all within walking distance and offer fabulous lunch menus.

If you’re wanting to go somewhat fancy for dinner – Luna Bonita provides a festive Mexican vibe with delicious tacos – or Ichi offers an authentic Japanese experience. If you’ve just been for a swim and don’t wish to get out of your swimmers – Off the Hook fish and chips can whip up fresh fish and chips.

And of course, don’t forget Blue Cow Gelato for dessert! All these wonderful establishments are close by to the Mid Pacific.

Feel like staying in? No problem – we have a special relationship with several local restaurants who will deliver to your door for cozy in-room dining.

On the Water

Our Motel is directly opposite the wharf, which is home to some of the most popular tourist attractions in Port Macquarie, including whale watching, the Port Jet Boat and fishing charters. You may also wish to rent a kayak or stand up paddle board, if you’re feeling adventurous!

We also sit right on the famous Coastal Walk, which stretches an impressive 9 kilometres up our beautiful coastline.

Meanwhile Town Beach is a ten minute walk, if the surf and sand are more your thing.

Other great local activities include the Lighthouse Beach Camel Safari – or a wine tasting at Cassegrain Winery – which are both a 15 minute drive.

Day trips and adventures

If you’re wanting to get out and see more of this wonderful region, chat to our friendly front desk staff about some day trip ideas.

The Bago Maze and Winery is a great place for the whole family, while the Stoney Aqua Park is guaranteed to win the kids over.
